Well, here is the first of my new kind of manips. Hope you all enjoy.
Inspired by the cover of The Spectre #1 from april 1987.
Done using Photoshop 7 and Poser 4.
Started this Thursday evening and finished it today. It had a ton of layers. I mainly used dodge and burn as well as the smudge tool to make this. The main figure is a 4-part Frankenstein, using Dolf Lungren's Chest, a poser arm and hand, Biohaz-daddy's arm and hand, as a mystery actor????????s head (any Guesses?). I have no idea how many layers this is I had to keep merging them together to keep thing workable.
The image you see here is only 50% the actual size. For the full size version go here:

Enjoy!

Yup, excellent! Great inspiration. Everybody knows your a great artist, but I think a few may have missed the fact that your always trying to better yourself, this being the latest result.. the tip of the iceburg.
I want everybody who posts here to look at this picture then try just a little harder, try something a little different, ask questions, look for answers and spend a little more time on their next project.

But thats just me wishing for _more_ A++ content like this one.

This one of the better pictures of the Specter that I have seen with the Earth and Human souls in his Palm.

 Re: The Spectre By Winterhawk
Thanks everyone for all the nice comments, glad you all liked it as much as I do .

I am surprised no one tried to guess who the actors face was. IT is Tom Cruise for those that were wondering.

Did you make all those little souls yourself?
Yes BB I did. There are about 20 different poses for the souls with a couple different angles for each, I also placed and shaded each one individually to give it the right look and lighting.

original was done by Mike Kaluta, right?
Yes it was, for those interested you can find the original cover Here

Where did you find the picture of the Earth.
Google

I would like to thank Biohaz_Daddy for being a hand model and a sounding board on this one, I was having a heck of a time finding a picture of a hand in the right position and he came through for me, Thanks Bio.

Hey WH - I can't add much else to the other comments, I could say "wow" and "gee" and such but by now it's all been said.

How about "superfantincredamazing"?

By the way, thanks for putting me in this picture. I'm that little guy down there, 17th from the left.

By the way Starchild - is that a pun? "Others would pale by comparison"? Funny...

Omigod! This is freakin fantastic! I've often wondered how come we don't see more postings of the Spectre but after seeing this one, any others would pale by comparison. Totally awesome job.
