Re: Hawkgrrl Great image, especially given your software limitations! Except for being a bit off-center, her helmet cowl is perfect! (yeah, I know DD said it first, but I thought it was worth repeating.)

Re: Hawkgrrl not to make exuses, but... my HDD (harddiskdrive) crashed and my PS7 went with it. I've been using PS Elements 2.0 for my last 4 posts. PSE 2.0 has very limited resources (no pen tool) and I am lost without PS7. I think I'm gonna break down and buy PS CS2, my PS7 was a "back-up" version and it served me well, so I feel I "owe" it to Adobe to make an actual purchase, they make quality programs so I don't feel bad about supporting them. When I buy it I will take your comments and suggestions and integrate them into my work. Thanks for the critiques. Jay Lo??? Maybe, but I don't think so... but I'm known for being wrong. Oh yeah check "mybabegalleries.com" there's an assortment of hotties.

Re: Hawkgrrl Your edges are still a bit rough, particularly on the helmet. Try Pen-tooling around the pic inside the edge, then make a selection(the marching ants),then Select>Inverse and Delete. Should clean it right up. No complaints about the background, wings or model, though.

Re: Hawkgrrl Yeah this base has been used for this character before even. You may recognize it from Winterhawk's version. I would say great minds think alike, but it's Winterhawk

Re: Hawkgrrl I've seen the base pic before. The model is Jennifer Lopez, isn't it? The original pic lends itself to Hawkgirl well and I've considered doing her myself (no pun intended, folks.) Your grasp of the costume shape is very good. Now start spending some serious time on details and check out every tutorial you can. You have the start of a great manip here!
