Saw a catwoman drawing in a comic where the usually skintight costume went saggy on the arms so wanted to give it a try

Pretty good Blue, some of your edges are a little off but it is a great manips. well done.

You should try the pen tool. it will bring your work to the next level.

Great comments from the others, so I'll just add - good work on the nails! The brown boots seem a bit out of place, though. Maybe coloring them a black would work better.

Nice work!

I think this is your best ???????Full Model??????? image so far. Your edges are a lot cleaner. You????????re getting the ideas behind seams and folds. And you????????re working on blending the costume and the original image.

So, before I give you a hefty critiquing let me make this fact crystal clear :good:

Now for the skill building nitpicks.

First, I????????d recommend you read some tutorials on the Path Tool. Here????????s one I found on Yahoo. You????????ll hear various opinions on paths. I like them because the paintbrush is just a bunch of overlapping dots. The final line wavers a bit. The paths tool gives you razor sharp lines to work with. Also it????????s easier to visualize your final product. I think it would have made your mask and cleavage area more natural. It also helps when making long seams and masking thumbs from the wrath of the blur filter.

Second, after extracting your costume area you should pay attention to the hard edges of the costume. (ex. the belly button line and the neck and clavacle lines.) Clothing, no matter how tight, obscures these things. If she had been dipped in liquid latex then you????????d be fine! The best suggestion I have for this is to find reference pics of all kinds of skintight clothing. I use the NSFW Shinyladies.com for reference pics. Definately, blur or smudege the belly button.

Third, when working with wrinkles and folds think long and flowing! You????????re off to a nice start but let them interact with each other. You????????re also teasing us with tension folds on the upper right shoulder. You have more opportunity with the left shoulder, back, crotch and knees.

Lastly, I think you????????re trying too hard to get the costume and blonde hair to play nice. This girl has nice long hair that drapes over her shoulders. One, nice low opacity line following the hair line would work a lot better than the short hairs that are dragged against the flow.

Not bad, not bad. Good use of existing elements within the picture.

Why don't you clean it up, take a little more time, and we'll replace this one with a better one?

Great job, but I think the cut out on her breasts needs some cleaning up.
