The line of his collar... or around his neck... whatever... It is a little off and I keep staring at it... but the rest of the costume and the FXs are pretty goood!

Yeah, that's one thing about the legion. They held on to their Boy/Girl/Lad/Lass names well into adulthood.

Hell, in this pic, Star Boy has a freakin' beard.

The FX of the costume is wonderful but I don't see a Star Boy here ,seems more like a Star Man?

Thanks, VL... I was just messing around with Optical_Intrusion's displacement map tutorial & with creating starfields and remembered this character.

In some of the comics, the suit has a white outline along its outer edges, but when I tried to do it with the manip, it looked bloody awful--no matter what I tried, it looked like something that would happen by accident, and not by design. Funny how some stuff that looks great in the comics does NOT translate well to real-world.
