Ah... DB, I hope I didn't offend you or anything. I enjoy your work, and I think you're a very talented and promising artist. I saw something I think you should work on and said as much... probably in way too much detail. I have a tendency to be overly critical in my reviews, as I've often been told. I assure you I wasn't trying to be hurtful. I was offering a suggestion that I think would improve your future work. No more, no less. We cool?

I will always love this Babe even though she married Charlie and had his child and she looks as good now as she did when she was single. Let's just hope she goes that route again cause she is a real Doll

BTW she looks real good green

Good work! With a body like hers, a full-body pic would be better. Nonetheless, a good job.

Me, I would have used #0E9C06 blended with #47A040 for her face and a bit more #0B2B09 in her hair. Some #0000C0 wouldn't hurt either.

Well, I hate to be Mr. Criticizey Guy, but I think this is one of the weaker entries in this series. Thing is, a pic like this lives or dies based on how well you've changed the colours... I mean, it's a close up of a character with green skin, hair and eyes... in a full-body shot you can get away with an imperfect job turning those green, but if the image is just the of face, you can't.

I mean, don't get me wrong, this is a good image, as always... nice background, good costuming (what there is of it), even the colours (as much as I'm about to complain about them) are certainly above average.

And the colours in this image are IMO pretty weak. To the best that I can tell, you've just changed everything but the whites of the eyes to the same shade of green. Problem: we can tell. Or at least I can. A pic like this really needs a subtler set of colours to be really convincing... it needs some subtle hints of (say) blues and greens in the skin tone to make it more realistic (inasmuch as a lady with green skin can ever be realistic!) Human skin isn't just one colour... it's affected by things like ambient light, blood flow, blood vessels under the skin, tanning, etc... this would be true of green skin as well. The lips more or less work as they are, but the eyes... they're too dark and they lack life. They would greatly benefit if you went in with a small dodge tool and added some lighter areas to the irises... I mean, look in the mirror and you'll see your irises aren't so uniform in colour... at least mine aren't. And those points of light at the top? Those should be white. They're reflected light from her surroundings... why would that light be green? Then there's the hair... first, I think it too could use some variation in the colour... it's very monotonous. And look at how clumpy the screen left edge is... there should really be some individual floating strands of hair in that area... to just have these hard edges makes it look fake.

I'm sorry if I appear harsh, but I know you're a fine, talented artist; and I think you're more than good enough that you should have no problem improving on these points. And please don't think I'm just nitpicking. For once, I'm not. Realistically and convincingly changing skin tones is an important part of photomanipulation. After all, how many characters are there with weird skin colours? There's loads of them! Plus sometimes you'll want to recolour a B&W pic... in that case, you need even more subtlety. If you try the things I've suggested, experiment a bit and refine you're technique, I honestly think you'll benefit hugely in all your future work.

There, I'm done. Sorry about going on, but changing skin tones is something so many artists need to work to improve. I'm biased, cause I put a lot of effort into it myself, but I see a pic like this and I just can't help but think how much it could be improved by more subtle, interesting skin tones. Anyway, I'll shut up now.

Yes good work, I would like as well more body, not a full body, just more body in general :)

Actually I'm enjoying these close-ups. Always nice to break from the norm.
