Trek, this is good, I like that you are always trying something new.
One of the new things you did here was the reflection in the mirror, I've thought a lot about doing one of those. I wondered what some of the issues would be, and shadows/shading is now obviously one of them. I think the reflection should be a little darker, as I understand it when light reflects through glass it loses a lot of it's intensity.
