Re: Women of the X:The Australian Years Damn Gouge this is very fine work. I love how Dazzler looks. Psylocke looks great and so does Goblin Queen. Love the background too! Keep up this fine work.

Re: Women of the X:The Australian Years Thanks for the comments. Yep all mine except the backround and the scotter. The face glow I made by: Open a new document 250x250. Make you're colors black and white. Then to to Filter > Render > Clouds. Next to go Filter > Pixelate >Mezzotint, and set it on Medium Lines. Now go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur, set it on "Zoom," on 100%. Repete this last bit until you like the way it looks. Now just go Image> Adjust>Hue/Saturation, set to colorize and make your blast whatever color you want. Then just cout out the shape you want and move it to the new pic and adjust the transparency. Then I added an inner and outer glow to cause the effect to seem a little more luminescent.

Re: Women of the X:The Australian Years The Goblin Queen was the one I was most rushed on and it shows. As for the texture on Psylocke....We I'd seen it drawn textures and not textured, but the whole point of that cosume was that it was armor. This was back when she was just getting over the big pink poofy costume semi helpless goody-good girl stage, and it was pointed out to her that she needed some protection to make up for her lacking hand to hand skills. Hence I went with a textured look that i thought made it look more like armor rather than cloth. as for the shadows....well thats just an opinion really. I always see pics of the Outback with those long drawn out shadows of people behind them, so just went for that look a little.

Re: Women of the X:The Australian Years Dazzler is done very well. Great job on the shines. What is up with the texture on Psylocke ( I think it's her)? The Goblin Queen is alright. The lighting on all three woman seems to come in different directions. I think if you put the shadow under them, instead of behind them, it would make it seem more like the girls were in the desert. Over all pretty good.
