this is really good and i have to agree with you on the web lines i 've only done one spidey and it was the webs that killed me. i still intend to try another maybe with the black suit.

Yes, I did do them on one layer (pixel by freaking pixel). Once I was finally done, I cntrl + clicked the lines layer to select that section, went to the "Base Image" layer and copied that section and pasted it on a new layer. I then desaturated that layer and played with the levels until it looked right. I like how they came out. Probably won't do another Spidey for a while (at least with this suit)!

Spidey's costume lines has always been the reason I haven't done one. you are not the first to note the difficulty. Did you do them all on one layer, and then Dodge/Burn? Just wondering...
