I havent posted anything for a while now, and this was just me trying to get something in.HAHA.

I found this awesome base pic on a Russian site, and the background from Google. After some tricks and alot of patience, here ya go.
Peter always seemed to find a nice dark alley to change in before going on patrol, and this pic is very faithful to the comic version of Spidey. There are no raised webs, or fancy schmancy textures, just old-fashioned Spiderman, in his essence.

Hey, don't knock the new stuff. Yes some of it is cr@p, but some of it is more realistic and practical. But this should be a comment on your pic.
The costume looks to be rflecting too much light and it's a kind of fuzzy, but you can still see the detail. I like the lighting and the overall mood of this pic, I prefer the darker heroes and this just makes him little less happy-go-lucky. I also like the colors you've chosen, specifically the blue. Not too dark so it clashes even worse with the red. Not to light or green so it looks like he belongs in a circus. Good job.
