excellent work man, shame about some of the details.
I'm assuming you were working with a larger picture and resized it.
If thats the case try this on your next one (or practice on this one) and see if it doesnt help.

(1)save the pic as "optimize for web" in photoshop (everyone should optimize regardless of size).

(2) Resize (I use infraview)

(3) Sharpen (infraview again / free progy).

I did this to your pic. it dropped the file size from 387kb to 106kb and brought out more details. Im curious as to the effect this could have on your original.
