Re: Everyone... 50 comic babes I loved the original! i like this one, too. Especially since you added some characters we just don't see too often such as She-Ra and Cheetara.

Re: Everyone... 50 comic babes Thanks for the advice guys... I'll get myself a "Lady heromorph pick" if it kills me. Im just glad I never saw Quantums effort first or I'd have been intimadated off even trying. (and thanks to HurricanSeason for posting 17 or so pics and knocking my new one down to the bottom after one day)

Welcome to the exclusive 50 chicks in 1 image club!!! Well, Bluemeenie, welcome to the club. You've just completed the best skill building exercise available. You have no idea how badly I've wanted someone else to try this project. Even better, you went out and made it your own. For those of you who have never tried this: You get tired of your standard techniques, try new stuff to keep from getting bored. You want to throw the whole thing out when you're halfway through because your first character doesn't look as good as the last one you made. You desire to kick your own ass for putting 3 leather clad antiheroines together and now you have to make each one look unique. 80% of the work is getting the individual models on their own layer. And then there's "The List". You have to raid every comic book site to find heroines to add. Also, in your defense, I had a higher-quality image to work with. OK, now that I'm done reminising... Onto the critique. The biggest problem you seem to have is that you're reinventing the wheel to get your base images. The black lingere is not as big of a hinderance as you would think. I got around the problem this way: Select the area around the model, copy and paste to a new layer (Layer 1). Erase the remaining stuff around the model so all you have is the original layer and Layer 1. Duplicate Layer 1 and desaturate the new layer (Layer 2). This will make a grayscale image of the model for you. Make a new, blank, layer (Layer 3) and select your paintbrush tool. Change your foreground color to 50% gray (Thats 0% Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and 50% black not a translucent brush!) and paint over the black lingere on layer 3. Once you're satisfied use the dodge and burn tools to reconstruct the model. Once finished merge Layer 2 & Layer 3. You'll have a nice, clean layer to manipulate. The only other quibble I have is that your costuming is softer than the base image. It's hard to keep softness consistant so I'd recommend making your costuming work well defined then trying to soften it once the costumes are finished.
