Introducing from Italy: Magico Vento (Magic Wind), created by Gianfranco Manfredi, and published by Bonneli Comics, this one was very fun to do because I?m a big fan of this character since his creation in 1997. This character was inspired by Daniel Day-Lewis in the Last of the Mohicans so I choose a base pic from a movie poster of that movie. Also tried some new things in Photoshop and I like how it came out. Hope you like it. Bio of this character in the first post.
Interesting background effect OCP. There are two minor things that bother me about this picture. Something about his left hand (right side of picture) makes it seems like he's missing a finger. The other thing is his eyes. I think his left eye (right side of picture) is too wide open compared to his right eye.
Magico Vento is an unpredictable character, travelling towards the last frontier, the one between reality and the unknown! His stories combines the feel of the classic Western adventure with the spine-chilling atmosphere of horror stories. By siding with the Indians, the story of Magico Vento not only portrays their desperate struggle to survive but also their passionate quest for spirituality, amid rites, visions, dreams of deliverance and terribly real nightmares. For whites, Ned Ellis is a rebel, a renegade, a killer; for the Sioux, who have welcomed him into their community and given him the new name of Magico Vento, he is a Strange Man, in other words a shaman, a warrior and a restless spirit, unpredictable and beyond the confines of any law. A fragment of metal that lodged in his brain has wiped out his entire memory of the past, but it's also left him with an astonishing ability to foresee the future through disturbing visions and premonitions.
