First, let me say the only reason why I choose this character was because she is a very obscure one. And because for U.S., well? we have lots to choose from and I?m trying to  show in this series some more unknown characters.
I also tried some new things in this one, like a new technique for fire, some ?frankensteining? and tried to make her uniform to look a bit like metal.
About the character, her powers are from magic origin and she?s able to control and create flames. Her control is such that she can create weapons out of flame (I tried to show that with her axe).
She was publish by Quality Comics, in the Smash Comics comic book. Created by Bob Turner and Jim Mooney in 1941.
Oh yeah, her name is Wildfire.

okay, I think I see the problem, OCP. The lower legs, I think, were taken from a model that was scaled smaller than the model you started with. If you select the layer with the lower legs (if that's still possible) and scale them up, you should be okay. I also notice the thighs look a little big. That may be because of the lower legs, or they may be from a model scaled slightly larger. Hope this helps.

Now that you mention about her legs, Jr and 999, I actualy see what you mean. I was aiming for a kinda curved look in here and the lower legs were "frankenteining" (kinda first try), when finish looked ok to me but I'll go back to it after Christmas and will try to correct that.
Thanx, guys. Sometimes it needs someone with a fresh eye to tell us " this looks ok, but to make it better, you should try this or that".
I really appreciate that.

JR, the thing that is off is the legs. The upper legs are probably fine, but her lower legs are way scrunched, they should be longer than the upper.
Other than that I think this is an improvement on some of your previous pics. You definitly pulled off the metallic look on her clothes, and the different elements don't look quite so dischordant. Dischordant as in fuzzy, painted on, or just not blending well.
I also love the background. It looks very cool. The Statue of Liberty and the flag actually look like they came like that. Did they?
Keep practicing, OCP!

She looks nice... and of course, as always, educational. But I can't figure out what is wrong. I think it is her legs... I think they are too short. Something about the anatomy is off on this image.

T? visto que nada escapa a vc, amig?o.
Usei as pernas dela. tudo o resto pertence a Carrie Stevens.

I see you're on to every female model in the web, Buddy.
I used Aria's legs, everything else belongs to Carrie Stevens.
As for the character, she appeared in Smash Comics from issue 25 to issue 37. She was one of the few Quality characters who has not turned up since being bought by D.C.
I tried to find a cover from that comic book with her on it, but couldn't so the picture I used is from her first story, I think...

PAZ/PEACE

Thank you for picking a little known hero. We see the well known quite often so this is a treat.

Nice job on this manip. I think the flames look good.

Not yet, didn't do UK yet.
But I'm always finding new characters from other countries and sometimes friends sugest some others, so I don't see an end for this serie soon.
Even now, I have a few more characters waiting until I have more skills to make them like I want.

Your tour has been very educational as I have never heard of this character before. It's very difficult to make flames that look realistic and I applaud your effort in tackling it. Now that both Canada and U.S.A. have been done, does that mean that your tour is coming to an end?
