Every once in a while I like to do a Star Trek manip. When I came across this model, I thought she would make a great Vulcan, so built a Next Gen scene around her. BikerBot has been giving me some great direction lately and I can see a big difference in the way I approach each piece of work now. I'm pretty pleased here. Enjoy.

So there!

Popster, getting better all the time. I like her skin work, and her ear. The pixelated and artifacted Voyager bridge has got to go, you need to improve your Google skills.

As many know, I am not the best when it comes to wrinkles, but some of these wrinkles need to be blurred into the costume more. Not the elbow ones, however, those are just right.

And, of course, Who's The Model?

Great pic! Nice model (as BB would say) and great overall detail - shows thought and work. The only thing I would suggest is costume texture design. Is the figure going to wear, e.g., nylon-spandex, lycra, lame (see co's Batgirl), leather, stretch cotton, etc. I make it easy for myself by using only nylon-spandex, but other artists hear are able to recreate many textures.

I like the green tint to parts of her skin. And the uniform work is good. That's one tight uniform!

I get a lot of good advice and criticism here at Heromorph and it has made my art light years better than when I first posted. In all fairness BB has helped me raise my skill level while keeping it fun and I appreciate that.
