Back to another character to my World Tour in comics, this time from Phillipines. I choosed to make kind of an amalgam version from a couple versions of her (past and present) that I found googling but I think it didn't came out that bad:
Darna is a superheroine created by Mars Ravelo. In her more popular incarnations, she is a warrior from outer space manifesting herself through a girl from Earth, named Narda.
Darna was originally known as Varga and first appeared in Bulaklak Magazine, Volume 4, #17, on July 23, 1947. Ravelo had differences with the editors of Bulaklak Magazine and Varga's name was changed to "Darna". The character was re-launched on May 13, 1950. Nestor Redondo drew the first Darna.
Regardless of her many incarnations, the 1950's origin of Darna begins with a village girl named Narda who finds a small white stone, a tiny meteorite from outer space. Narda swallows the stone and shouts "Darna!" - becoming a mighty warrior ready to defend Earth from evil forces.

OCP, I really like this piece...except, I'm with BIO on the chrome effects. It worked well for me on the head piece but kinda lost it everywhere else. If you can (I know it's hard)I think you are ready to move up to Photoshop. If you cannot, try to not use filters for metalwork and go play with some intense dodge and burn to get the effect you are looking for. Other than that, I always look forward to your work. You bring a bit more to the table than most and it shows in your effort and imagination. Well Done!!!

Essa viagem t? ficando boa a cada parada. Bela escolha de modelo,e sim tambem acho que a parte de metal pode ser melhorada.
Parab?ns OCP, - ah sim, o logo foi a ultima coisa que notei que tinha mudado

Very cool O! I like these savage girls from outer space types. :lolO

I think you need to put PSP behind you, cuz I'm reading your statement that it's better to mean that it's easier. Looking at the metal work they look like they are some automated filter. That's why the metal doesn't fit the form or the lighting of the rest of the figure.

Why in your logo there is a F in the place of a C?

That's because my logo is my real name initials.

What do you think about the changes I made in the avatar you made to me?

I like what you did with it, the blinking eyes are a cool touch.

As for the metal look, I cheated a little and went back to PSP9 to give it that look. I still find PSP better than Photoshop when comes to metal pieces.

keep the series going as long as you can.

Thank you. I sure will try to. As long as I can find characters for the Tour.

Cool! Well done.

My flatmate is from the Phillipnes, but she doesn't look like this.
