Re: Iron Man Santa 3 If I recall correctly If I posted in a 2D form it was as a response I do not think I ever posted an image there
response to this:
bhm1954 The gold part of the suit looks too green to me and I don't think this is 3D but otherwise it looks OK.
I didn't use greens in any of my pallets (except on the lights)(not saying it doesn't look green to you) It may be an interpretation of the shadows Or perhaps my monitor is set up at a different brightness scale.. Dunno (its pretty bright)
Is there any color Pallet sets for these forums (color guides?)
While it is a real background (real toys) the iron man figure itself is a completely DRAWN IMAGE. using various color layers. (I guess it has real images so manips is apropriate)

Re: Iron Man Santa 3 Quote: Care to define 3D please?
My interpretation of 3D 1 D = flat line 2 D = flat objects with Length times width but no depth (a square for example) 3 D = length times width times mass meaning have the appearance beyond 2D A cube a picture of a tree, any picture that is not just lines, art that is simply not line-art alone
Not arguing here. but I would like your interpretation of 3 D please
There is layered color on this in appearance of 3 D at least my interpretation thereof
Oh the hands. i tried to keep them in basic example of the original art they were kind of skinny on it as well I could have bulked em up I guess being as except for background this is art it isn't all photomanip so does not belong in that category it doesn't need interpretation or definition, we do that already. from the posting policy: Three Dimensional Gallery 3D art is digitally rendered, 3-dimensional art (example: Poser, Maya, 3DS Max, Bryce, Etc.). Also Please put any non-digital 3D artwork in this Gallery, such as sculptures. Quote: Course I could be wrong here. I haven't posted to these forums in a couple years (forgot about this site altogether)
yes you are wrong and If by a couple of years you mean less then 1 year, because you were posting into the 2d gallery last fall. less then a year ago.

Well in the universe our planet resides in to achieve 3 dimensions you add height to length and width. Mass isn't a dimension here, but I am sure it makes for a good time wherever you come from. Not that it makes any difference because you posted in the gallery at this website (what is it called again? ) that is for art made using what we on earth call 3d computer graphics. Thinking about what you said reminds me of what they have in the 2d gallery here. But I wasn't sure so I went to babelfish to translate what you said: από τη The Times του πλάτους της The Times του μήκους το σύνολο της έννοιας έχει μια εμφάνιση πέρα από δύο διαστάσεις. Εικόνα κύβων του δέντρου, καμία ουσία που περιγράφουν ότι όχι μόνο οι γραμμές είναι, τέχνη που είναι απλή μόνο καμία τέχνη That's Greek... but in English... it makes just as much sense. I don't think they can translate from English back into what you speak... The good news is that you did center Ironman nicely so it nearly qualifies for this gallery... if only you had cut off his feet

Re: Iron Man Santa 3 Wow! This is 3d? How did you get it to look so flat? I love that you are man enough to let him use a jazz hand. I love jazz dancing. All musical theater really. I wonder when Marvel is going to do Broadway style like DC did with the Batman movies... they have some great characters that it would work with. Like Ironman here.

Re: Iron Man Santa 3 I have a lot of other modern pieces of art similar style to this if you wish the link ask here or send a message here via the in box Those I will not post due to that site requiring that all art be there alone :)
Spiderman, batman, marvel zombies, And a goofy Thor (marvel zombies I lost original but image that is done is pretty good)
Also this iron Man (except the toys which are real) Start in a rough color section image which is molded piece by piece in case this was originally traced from an old comic The basic outline was used but alot of molding 2d-3d enhancement was added, and my type of coloring
This was completely made in photoshop 7
