Re: California Surfer Dude Takes Manhattan For those outside USA this is spoofing a Geico commercial. I should have made c c m more skin toned oh well There may be a new one in future i i have time starring him
Let me know guys if you think following should be done on this style art 1) Make more dark areas. 2) More blurring, 3) Less muscular 4) suggest improvements. I don't learn on these unless i do, and appreciate it in advance. Next Image I do will be a spiderman but its outline was that from an AM spiderman comic again with real background Not sure if and when that'll be done though time permitting and job permitting (It would be 2 versions)

Re: California Surfer Dude Takes Manhattan If anyone wants the basic info on how images like this are created - I start with a set blocks for given areas of a character such as separating a generalized area of the nose from the face The Individual guessed muscle groups etc. then I basically select each given area (sometimes multiple sections at once) And fill it with my color-choice and do a form of rendering doing a rough guess in my mind how that piece will look compared to next one. I know this doesn't fully explain it however its the basic of it It started as a set of guessed at blocks. Captain caveman however was more or less traced from a old very small image and in case of hair real hair was used, and the rest was created by the same process as the surfer I did not use any reference images for the surfer just did what i thought looked best
I should have added a caption like 'Who gave me these baseball card size teeth, I'm a Surfin' Dude not a P A R T Y 'n DUDE!' of well not everybody's get that reference.. There may be a sequel to this (no promises) bot starring the surefer but just CC
