Spent a day looking for images of Dick Tracy's rogues' gallery, wasted five hours trying to get the poses I wanted right, abandoned that and just piecemealed a background that didn't involve me actually drawing buildings or cars (sweet crispy walnuts, do I hate drawing buildings and cars!)
Amazingly, the easy part was copying Chester Gould's classic artstyle.
Don't think the Blank and Flattop Jones ever worked together, but I figure they ran in the same circles, so maybe they knew each other or something.
Ah.....f*** a duck, I did forget the wrist-radio, dinnit I? And after I told myself NOT to forget it, no less. Well, that's my Teflon brain for you- nothing sticks to it except the stuff I really don't want.
But yeah, I thought the poster was anice touch. You can't see it completely, but it's Al Capone, wanted for tax evasion.
