Third this is really cool.

and finally...

Fourth, you need to get yourself some drawing and inking tools... on the drawing side I suggest a ruler and maybe a couple of french curves... on the inking side either a good camel hair brush, if you have a steady hand, or if you don't, a set of markers of varying line width (or possibly some brush markers)... whatever you are using now is not doing your work justice. In fact I think it may be doing just the opposite.
