When they did the original Transformers cartoon they modified the robot modes from their original toy counterparts so they were easier to animate. Some characters ended up looking a lot different. Here's Megatron made to look like the original toy.

I always wondered who was the designing genius that put the trigger between Megatron's legs. Very disturbing. Great rendering though. It does look just like the packaging art as I remember it.

Sad thing is, unless you have this toy already, it will be next to impossible to get him now because of the law that stats a toy gun can not look like a real gun, so imoports are most likley not to happen because of a stupid kid that got him self shot for pointing a Lazer Tag Gun at a cop :attack:

...you know a ruler. That wooden thing with all those numbers and those marks on it.. about as long as my........

Beautifully rendered Megatron, just as I remember him. You know I had that toy....my sister broke it the 3rd day I had it......

Hey, when you do robots like this,is it all free hand or do you use a ruler or drafting tools?
