 Re: Zoe - Firefly Excellent. I loved that character, and the show. sucks that noone knows what to do with something new and original. But unfortuneately Joss Whedons name on it means that people were going to pigeon hole it.

Re: Zoe - Firefly I like it, though to me the color on her right upper arm does not match the skin tones on her lower arm, chest and head. is it ment to be that way? I ask because I too am unfamiliar with the character.

Re: Zoe - Firefly Her jaw line is off, and her lips--it's hard to capture both over from Gina. Working on that, still. I'm even adding the rope necklace for the next revision. The outfit change was deliberate with the scooped neck on the traditional leather vest--because I draw comic art, and my friends heckle me if I don't show enough cleavage.  So, yes.. still a work in progress. Squarer jaw and lips are the big thing to make it more like Gina. I've had a devil of a time with it, so far. You know those warrior women--they're difficult. |

Re: Zoe - Firefly  Real nice piece of drawing, good lookin gal but I like Gina Torres as Zoe and I think she very sexy and love those lips of hers. So why didn't you make it more like her?   And Please Don't take that the wrong way as it's still a great picture! |

Re: Zoe - Firefly The artistry is very nice, but there are lots of details here that are particular to Zoe that you've left out. Most primarily is her string necklace - which symbolizes her marriage bond to Wash, and her mare's leg, which she carries on her right thigh. Also, this little resembles a black woman, though it does look good as a general 'Firefly/Serenity' character.
