Investigating a recent spate of high profile disappearances leads Wonder Woman to an old abandoned sewer system.
She soon discovers the sewers are not quite as abandoned as first thought??????Water Elementals have taken up residence, and do not like uninvited guests!
Grabbed from behind, a watery hand clamps over her face, and her mouth begins to fill with liquid. As she struggles, another rises from the murky depths to join its comrade, whilst from below, she feels others grasping at her legs.
Some days you just wish you stayed in bed!

Believing that by enlisting the help of Ivy and Harley, she could take down Wonder Woman was Cheetah's first mistake.
Her second was, in the process, she really pissed off the Amazon Princess!
And her third, and by far the worst mistake was....Despite the 'I'll be seeing you soon enough' look Wonder Woman gave her before beating the snot out of Ivy and Harley, she actually remained around for the outcome!
That's a bad move Cheetah......a really bad move! |

With Superman out of town, the local thugs thought they could 'make hay whilst the sun shines'.
In a deserted alleyway in downtown Metropolis, as a terrified victim pleads for her life, a solitary figure silently descends into the light.
Catching a glimpse of movement from the corner of his eye, one of the muggers looks up, all words instantly choking in his throat. Grasping his partner in crimes arm, he tries to warn him, but his colleague is far too engrossed in the woman before him.......and ignores his partner.
He never knew what hit him........... |

When Green Arrow had asked Black Canary out on a date, she had assumed they'd go clubbing, or to a movie, a restaurant maybe.......even just a couple of drinks!!
What she didn't expect was to be stuck out all evening in the Lower East side of Town, whilst Arrow methodically scanned every last centimetre of ground, trying to glean some incriminating evidence against the local drug cartel.
Looks like it's going to take Green Arrow a lot of 'making up' to get this Canary singing a happy song again!!!

With Diana seemingly imprisoned by Ares, and Themyscira almost overrun, Artemis taking up the mantle of Wonder Woman leads the remnants of The Amazon Army to the secreted caves in the mountains of Northern Themyscira, to regroup and plan their counter attack.
She sends her most faithful and beloved pet Peraclese to locate the enemy patrols??.

Harley stares vacantly in to space, a smile permanently etched on her face.
Although the plan had been foiled, and she was now back within the confining walls of the Asylum, nothing phased her. Her brain wouldn't let it!
To Harley, she hadn't been defeated, quite the oppsite; She had defeated not only Wonder Woman and Batgirl, but taken down that backstabbing Catwoman.
She continued to gaze vacantly before her, softly humming an old nursery rhyme, not even noticing the constraints of the jacket around her.

Having tracked Cheetah for several days, it seemed her persistance had finally paid off, as the trail led Wonder Wonder deep into the maze of catacombs....with only one way back out...past her.
Unfortunately, a few hundred feet into the maze, the trail went cold.
So now, in the labyrinth of passageways, lit only by flickering torches, a game of cat and mouse ensures.........but who shall end up the mouse? |

In the dead of night and undercover of a thick sea fog, thirty miles offshore??????????.
Wonder Woman?captured and chloroformed by Superwoman and Cheetah, is cast adrift. Bound with her own lasso and secured to a buoy, the unconscious Amazon is oblivious to her fate, as the two villainesses watch with much self-satisfaction and smug gloating as the buoy, and its unwilling cargo drift out of sight on the strong current.

As the the Amazon Princess is forced to kneel before him, Ares reveals his true nefarious plans.
"And now Princess.....you shall be witness to the total destruction of this worthless planet. What?..... Why so agitated?..... Surely you didn't believe I would simply leave these things alone once I had you in my grasp? I'm the God of War..... I have certain.... standards to uphold after all"!
He yanked on the chain, pulling the Amazon closer to him.
"And after this, I think we should go see your Mother"! |
