Re: DEFENDERS of THANAGAR I hadn't considered giving them 'normal' helmets. I was assuming that only the main two would have the hawk-helms and everyone else would be mundane. I guess normal hemlets would have looked pretty cool, but I don't want to open this one up again. Live and learn for next time. :)

(WW has her super equipment - other Amazons don't) I agree with what you said and it was not my intention to imply that there was something wrong with this or that it should in anyway be changed. I'm sure Doug knows how I feel about his work. {God knows I gush over it enough!} It's just that sometimes an image could carry a storyline or theme that the artist may not always make known to the public. I only mentioned the masks [or lack thereof] because I have never seen any Thanagarians maskless other than Katar and Shayera. The regular troops always have on wingless helmets..so for all I know they may all look alike, but then I'm not a real Hawkworld fan.

Re: DEFENDERS of THANAGAR You succeeded! Nothing is lost from your your usual powerful imagery but you did gain that strong sense of dynamics! Awesome!!!

Re: DEFENDERS of THANAGAR No need to apologize. I may or may not make changes, but I'm ok with people finding flaws in my work. :)

Re: DEFENDERS of THANAGAR Er... yeah, I kinda have to agree with Star... Sorry. Phenomenal work otherwise, totally Costume design, poses, composition, lighting... everything is spot on. As usual. Awesome stuff!

Re: DEFENDERS of THANAGAR WOW! Another masterpeice...but i find myself asking why only Hawkman & Hawkgirl are helmeted? It probally would have cleared up the question of why all the other guys look alike. Believe me I feel like a total heel nitpicking such great work but it did jump out at me.
