WOW! A very ambitious project that you have here. While I'm used to your creativity I don't think I've ever seen you take it to this level. A very nice tribute to a classic Spiderman story [Issue #16 to be exact]. While everything looks great and mimics Steve Ditko's style almost perfectly, I think I'm most impressed by how you pulled off Canonball.
Now I'm assuming that unless you've done some serious upgrading to your PC, it must have taken a while to create the crowd or is this a new M.O.M. I haven't seen yet?
Thanks Bro! Makes me very happy to hear you say it does such a good job of mimicking Ditko as while it is an original layout and poses, I am definitely a student of Ditko Design!
Glad you liked Cannonball too... I made the helmet, shoulderpads, shirt and belt as well as webbing, Spidey's mask (and costume textures), Circus ball, cannon, ring and trapezes, Ringleader's shirt, tie, jacket and hat, Gambonno shirts, DD's belt, leg harness and baton and the Clown's outfit.
No... no upgrades. I don't know what M.O.M. is... Method OF Madness maybe? Cause I definitely went a little insane in the membrane on this one.
Yeah, it took quite a while just for the crowd alone (62 people) although I spent easily double that time on the main characters and scene. I really can't even justify the time and effort spent trying to put all this together (25 layered renders) except to try to push the envelope of what I can do. I won't be attempting anything like this again!
Still, nice to know it's appreciated. Thanks!
