"once a chemical engineer mirko was always a quiet girl often working alone ,her assistants often called her the machine or fireball because of her single minded focus on her work .
until one evening when a college student decided to mix chemicals on her as punishment for a failing grade,then resulting explosion forced the chemical bath onto her skin where it was completely absorbed giving her the abilities of flight and control of fire "
