I originally wanted Gloin, who will most likely be renamed, to be an Herbalist providing the company of seven with healing remedies and the like.  The dwarves themselves will have nods to both The Hobbit and Snow White, in as much as the dwarves will possess the personality traits reminiscent of Disney's dwarves, but far less cartoonish. Yet Physically they'll be more like Tolkein's dwarves including a couple that are visually very similar. Like Tolkein, I will be drawing inspiration from the Norse "Poetic Edda".   Unlike both, however, I have included a single female dwarf who, keeping with my universe is sporting some subtle facial hair because duh dwarf.
