So I have begun tinkering with iRay... I am impressed and always have been with it's performance just not its render times. I have managed to get it to under a half hour with results like this.  What I really want is the ability to manipulate the lighting which is difficult at best. I know how to turn off the default light dome, but I don't know how to manipulate light intensity/distance/falloff for placed lights. Soon it will be mine to manipulate Mawaahahahahahahaaaa.
