Out in space there exists an interstellar cabal of alien scientists. Their altruistic goal, the preservation of species threatened with extinction. To this end they acquire specimens of fauna in danger of dying out, transplant them to a planet where they can thrive and once grown to sufficient numbers return some to their world of origin.
