It took me a minute to figure out that it was a beam striking a forcefield on the 2nd ship and while I think the filtering works perfectly on those ships, it doesn't work very well on the starfield, those outlines around the stars tend to give a rather un-starlike impression. Still, the over composition and quality of the work are quite impressive. For a beginner, you handle 3D like a seasoned vet. Well done.
