I do enjoy breaking out the fractals from time to time. Yeah, the smaller ape arms seemed to work best for the quick and easy method of adding extra arms as Millenium Gorilla seems limited in it's morphability. I thought about building, texturing and rigging a whole new ape with an elongated torso and double full arms but nah, too much work! I was busy enough making the buildings, chest harness, belt and sword. Good advice on the ape expression. Thanks again!

i can't believe you have yet to see the John Carter movie..although its received alot of mixed reviews i found it very enjoyable.
this is a very stunning image it puts me in the mind of the old Marvel Comics title drawn by Gil Kane in the 80's. the fractals in the background give it a true uniqueness. nice characters as well [even though the ape does seem to have different sized arms. is that by design?] perhaps the only thing you could have done to inject a little more drama and attitude in this piece is to make the ape more menacing [maybe snarling or roaring], he just seems a little too laid back to me.
