Well, it has been a while, but I felt like trying out an old-school photomanip using the GIMP instead of Photoshop.  Since I use Linux as my main operating system these days, Photoshop is simply not an option.  I like the GIMP as a replacement program, I just haven't quite figured out how to do all the things I used to do with Photoshop yet.  Needless to say, my skills are rusty as this is the first manip I have completed in years.  That's why I went with a character that was fairly simple.  Comments/criticism/hate mail always appreciated.
