Ahhh...So that's how you do it. I've always thought the textures on your pics was better than almost every other pic here, and had always wondered how you attained it.
Of course I have no where near the level of computer savvy yet to produce these types of pics. But it's good to have a little look into the trade secrets of the pros around here. Hopefully someday when I do have the time, and have learned how to use the types of programs people use here I'll be able to use it to make some of my own. But until that day, (if it ever comes,) keep up the truly great work, man!

P.S Again I've got to say props on the choice of model. I'm in the UK,and I've always thought Gemma Atkinson, had a great look for potential Powergirl pics. So it's so amazing now to see somehere actually use her for one! Superb, and it certainly get's my vote for best pic!! Truly Excellent!

You should post more. Always good to ask and comment on things. No need to lurk. I assume you are talking about the texture on the uniform. The whole thing of course is done in PS CS3.3. But it starts with a halftone patter distorted. Then from here a displacement map of the same pattern, the the liquify filters ran. Pretty much that's it. Just happened to stumble across it and have been doing that every since, it gives the material a more realistic look, least I think so. :)

I'm just a fan of the artwork around here, I have no idea how you folks do this stuff, and I lurk & keep to myself & never post. But did you actually go in there and draw all those lines? Or like... wrap some take some kind of flat mesh template and bend it around her body pixel by pixel? This one is really very well done!
