Re: Shadow Lass Thanks JRC --- the graininess (is that a word?) is what I am trying to resolve. The image was very clear and crisp up until some step that I did in PSP, and it is apparently due to the strange color dots that appear as if from nowhere. It's driving me nuts. And it must be a fundamental issue with PSP, since I use 3 different PC's to manip and I have seen this happen on all of them.

Re: Shadow Lass as an Avid user of Paint shop I have seen this when I am working with large files and many layers, What usualy fixes that problem is by clicking the visiblity of each layer and this will usualy clear it up just make sure to do it to the layers that have the problem or you will get the retangle of color and it will be stuck in the final image ...works for me anyway
