My 1st attempt at a Wonder Woman manip.  I had fun making all the shapes and stylizing them.  I think i am getting the hang of the basic techniques.  Opinions? Suggestions?

The hardes part was WW's Invisible Jet.  I took forever...

Wasmith,
Tell me more about this tracking setting. I've heard of this but I have yet to find it. I use Photoshop CS2 and people have told me to smooth out my lines but I can't find out how. What software do you use?

A goodly WW!

I wanted to ask you.. how do you draw lines? Are you using a mouse? I don't know what software you are using (I use Corel Paint Shop Pro 10) but I wanted to offer a suggestion about lines.

My software has various settings for line drawing. Yours may have something similar... One of those settings is called "tracking". Tracking basically tells the software to smooth out the "jags" that happen when you draw a line.

Here is a line drawn with no tracking:

And here is a similar one with the tracking set to 10:

I have no idea exactly what the value 10 means, but I have noticed that the higher the tracking number, the more the software wants to smooth the curve. 10 seems to work well for me.

Maybe your software has this feature? It sure helps making smoother lines.

I think you are off to a great start. Now keep at it. Your colors are good, but take advantage of tutorials available here and on other sites to learn more about texture and shading for a more life like look. Your choice of model and background is spot on and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
