And... yes, you're right, the shadows are too solid. Dammit. I can't believe I didn't see that!  Yet another reason I shouldn't get lazy with the background... I'll do even better next time, I swear.  |

Re: Kate Bishop: Hawkeye Nice rendering B. Only thing bugging me is that in shadow on a figure there is always a little dim light at the edge of the shadow. It creates a round look and shadow on a person or object does not go right to the edge like that....I don't know how else to say that. BUT Very good rendering otherwise. Great diagonal focus from the moon to the tip of her foot, guides the eye very nicely. Just wanted to help you get even better |

Re: Kate Bishop: Hawkeye I'm not familiar with the character, but your work on her is cool... as cool as you do. The composition is strong, but some of the textures on the 3d element could have used a little PS TLC. Overall I'd say it has a good beat, and is fun to dance to. I am really stoked to see a new fully original image out of you.

Still, it's the great pose and mood and the way all of it pulls together into a single sharp focus that gives it such power. Great job!  BTW, looks like render missed a shadow on that little thingy popping out of the rooftop to the left of her. |
