My review Hi, this is certianly a treat. I have not seen new work (photomanip) from you since the first call to arms picture. I like the costuming of the character very much. The boots and gloves are pretty darn good. the gloves could have use a drop shadow against the pink of the suit though. Great job on the hair. I like what you did with it. i think it could have looked a little more real if the edges of the hair did come to such a clean stop. maybe some 1 pixel brush smudging would have enhanced the edges of the hair. and made it look more real. on a scale of one to ten. (one being horse crap five being average and ten perfection) I give it a 7. good work. Like every one else i would have like to have seen a larger picture. keep them coming.

Re: Queen Medusa The pic's a bit small so it's a bit hard to see in detail. I'd like to see it larger and crisper but maybe that's just me. ;)
Have to agree with the others, for a first attempt this is -excellent- and certainly above the standard you usually get on the first attempt, but there are those few flaws people picked up on. I'd also add that the way the hair falls doesn't really look that natural to me. It's long but seems to be flowing sideways as well as dowanwards, with the end result that it looks like the hair looks 'wider' than it's actual length.
Great start though, love to see more!

Re: Queen Medusa This is your first submission? I'd say your off to a damn good start! Good work. Now the bad news: Yes, the high-light on the suit could be a bit "sharper". But as for the backgound? If you're using photoshop, add some "blur" and "noise" (just a little) to make it look less artificial.

Re: Queen Medusa I don't want to sound like I want to get even.
1.- the costume needs a little wrinkles on her arms and legs.
2.- the boots doesn't look too "real" for me, maybe is because the whithes you used for the highlights.
3.- the globes could use a little more work to separate them from her arm.
4.- I'm impressed what you did to the hair.
