| It's been over a year since I picked up pencil and sketchbook. I figured it was high time to get out of my rut and get to drawing. So, here we have from Netflix's "Daredevil" series...The Punisher. Some very minor tweaking done in Photoshop (mostly just to get rid of stray eraser bits that like to stick around and darken the image a little). |

Due to my current work schedule, I'm going to have to call this done. Not my original idea for this challenge, but it'll do. The hardest part was trying to match the brush strokes of the original painting...trying.

I also had to scale this down DRASTICALLY just to get it within the allowed image size. |

| 18"x22" aluminum panel. the first one I did had an unfortunate clearcoat mishap where it would have been near impossible to fix it. So.. I just sanded the panel down to the metal and started a new one. |

It went pretty smoothly until I started painting the face.. what a pain in the arse that was. Original line art was a Adam Hughes con sketch. |

The clearcoat was so shiny that I had to take the photo at a "worms eye view" otherwise, everyone would see my reflection. |

Tweaked just a touch in Photoshop, edited out my original background (I really was not liking the purple tribal I decided to go with for some reason).
My editing of the background would explain some of the sharp angles in the image. |
