Re: A HERO'S CALL: Stygian Hailing from a world overtaken by a breed of madness and horrors no man of Earth should ever know nor see, Arad L'rak, a lowly slave to the servants of The Great Old Ones stumbled upon a dimensional rift on his home-world and seized the opportunity to escape his miserable existence.
The rift landed him on Earth where he spent countless centuries among humans, discovering new-found powers granted by distinct genetic differences from this realms native inhabitants. Upon hearing rumor or writings scribed by The Mad Arab telling in detail of his former masters, Arad set out to locate and destroy the book that had become known as the "Ktab al Azif".
Centuries turn to millenia in his search until a threat presents itself in the form of "Bandwidth". He knows madness and chaos when he sees it, and only sees her actions as a precursor to the arrival of dark gods... though this perception may be slightly off. So he sets out along with others, determined to save his new home and taking the name "Stygian".
POWERS:
-Immortality and accelerated healing (presumably granted from the various brands on his body put there by his former masters)
-An ability to see in infrared spectrums.
-(Though not really a power) Highly intelligent. Having had eons to study and research, Arad is well versed in several languages, including those long dead and has mastered several fighting styles.
-Manipulation of shadows and the darkness, traveling instantly from one location to another by using the shadows.
-Heightened senses and strength.
