I wanted to try something that I never have before... so I guess this would be it. The overall background is simple around it, but he took me a while, I just for myself really was pleased with how he came out though. Take a look and let me know.

 Re: Colossus
The shine on this is REALLY well, done. However, I only have 1 small, nit pick: Parts of it look a bit blurry. Other than that its one of the best Colossus manips I've seen to date.

 Re: Colossus
OK.. a few questions:

The metal looks like filter work, but its tight filter work, really tight.. which lead me to ask the question:

What exactly did you do?

I think I see a few white airbrush strokes and some lens flare but I could be wrong.

Speak up or forever hold a secret.

 Re: Colossus
fantastic metal work. my only complaints would be his hair & it doesn't look like he has a mouth.

I don't mean to pick... because this image is awesome!!! My one gripe, and it is so trivial that it sounds like I was looking for something to pick on, is that his mouth looks like it is sealed shut. yeah, stupid gripe... I know... but the rest of this image is fantastic!!!! Really well done...

Looks real good in the body department but I think you lost some definition in his facical area with all the shinyness?

 Re: Colossus
I think you did a nice job on this. That much metal work had to be extremly difficult.

Doesn't look bad at all. Metal work can be very difficult and although this may not be "perfect" (whatever that means) this is real nice. Keep up the good work.

 Re: Colossus
that works :) I have not read comics in ages so I have no Idead who's alive, who's dead in the marvel or DC universe anymore :)

 Re: Colossus
Yeah I went to use the bands, they don't put them on him anymore in the newer books either, I wanted to give him kind of a cross between old and new?? That and when I was going through all the layers and all the bands just didn't look right to me when I did them so as to save the picture I just left them off this one!

 Re: Colossus
