This is my submission for the June challenge at Bold Comics.

Spring-Heeled Jack is a sort of urban legend of early Victorian London. I'm not sure what the deal is with this version of the character, but he's probably a scientist who experimented on himself, mutated into a weird, superhumanly powerful demonic creature, went borderline psychotic and became a (likely very violent) vigilante. Probably.

Photoshop, based on a photo of a crouching guy and another of Big Ben.

Man, does this bring back memories. I read about Jack when I was a kid, (must have been edited - I don't remember the fondling).

Great concept and Great Execution.

This is awesome!
Makes me want to design a version of him myself.
Great work on the helmet.

Thanks for the great image and the wonderful adventure to find info about this character and it was very interesting & a little different from what I remembered hearing when I was younger so we went to the experts at Altered Dimensions:-

 Re: Spring-heeled Jack
There's no real agreement as to what Jack was, beyond being a weird jumping thing. I don't recall terrorizing livestock coming into it at all, though I'm no expert.

Anyway, this is basically an original character based on the legend. It's not really supposed to be the legendary Spring-Heeled Jack himself... whoever or whatever that is.

 Re: Spring-heeled Jack
i thought in that particular legend, that jack was actually a demon bent on terrorizing humans and livestock?

I like this B. Not so much the actual manip [which is pretty awesome], but the mood you set with the picture itself. I never heard about this character before even though he does look familiar .
A picture like this makes him worth looking into.
Keep 'em coming buddy.

This came out really really awesome.

Looks like you went back to your roots a little with this one. Good on ya! I have always liked your painterly style it makes you stand out from the other artists.

This picture also has some more of your great lighting in it. all in all. this is awesome, well done B
