Re: Chyna + Cyblade = Chyblade! Oh, and I almost forgot, the bands were real simple. One layer of black lines(one or 2 pixels), then duplicate layer in white on top. Put them both in "overlay" mode. You can even add a soft "pillow emboss" to the black layer, then with the transparency locked, run the blur tool to soften as needed.

As to the metal reflections:
(sigh) I wish I could say I found some great formula or that I could even duplicate it if I wanted. What I originally did was create a few duplicate layers of her body(in greysacale) and ran diffferent filters on each (next time I'm gonna label the layers by what filter I used, that would help!). Most of the filters were plastic wrap, chrome, poster edges, levels. Then I blended them in various ways. the combinations were virtually endless, but I was convinced I could pulloff a good metal effect without having to paint. My first combinations produced a very busy pattern that looked a little like mottled soldering. I fixed it by rearranging the order of the layers and putting the "chrome" layer in "softlight" blending mode to take out most of the unessessary details.
I may still have the layered PSD if anyone is interested.
