I like the various "official" Queen Bees perfectly fine (can't say they're among my favourite designs or anything, but they're solid enough), but this is both a very nice redesign of the original 1963 version and a great rendition of her!

Excellent pastiche of Bill Ward's style, too. He's a bit before my time so I had to look up the name, but I recognized the art style as soon as I saw it--and you've recreated it beautifully!

I hadn't thought about those since I, too, was a kid...long long ago in an era where Cracked Magazine meant something...back when "70's" didn't refer to an Ashton Kutcher spoof show on TV...

I first became familiar with Bill Ward's work as a kid back in the 70's when he did a lot of work for Cracked, a humor magazine with a similar style and format as Mad magazine but Ward had been around much longer. He worked in comics on titles like "Torchy" and "Blackhawk" in the late 40's/early 50's but is more well known for his adult cartoons and illustrations.

Reminders me of one of those Playboy Cartoon characters!
