I liked Thayne Luc's pic of Checkmate so I was doodling my own attempt at it in my sketchbook when I thought I might as well make it a point to not erase on it so I could enter it in the Draw Off.

I can't say I wasn't more than alittle disapointed when they cancelled this series as I thought these are just kinda normal guys with cool outfits and gadets

To be honest, I sketch with ball point pens so much I'm used to not being able to erase. I generally only use pencil on a project I plan to finish and ink.

I'm amazed at how well you did the shading without being able to erase. I'd never manage that.
