DarqueImages asked if I ever thought about inking my work. I have, though it's been a few years since I tried my hand at it. So I found one that while some think is great on it's own. I saw things in it that might look good in ink. So here's a trial run after 4 years or so away from the pen.

If you'd like. Compare the two and tell me what you think.

I can see the ink brings this out. with just a little alteration in an image editing program, you could do away with the faded ink look to it

Yeah, I agree that something is lost in the transition -- there was some subtle little details in the pencils that get lost in the sharper lines of inks. Still a cool piece, though, thanks to the strength of the underlying drawing.

For somebody who says they're rusty at inking, this is pretty good but I do think a little something is lost in the translation. I like the pencils better but you really should pull out the ink a little more often.
