Re: The Cruel Fate of Clowning 2: Like Toy Soldiers Quote: Aghorishaivite wrote:
The world was in a panic. Ten major countries had released missiles at important cities all over the glove. Each of the countries claimed that the attacks were an accident, which hardly anyone believed. As the world saw famous leaders and military generals arguing amongst each other, many were certain that another world war was eminent.
One person was not convinced that these missiles could have been launched purposely by the countries accused of launching them. The countries were all known to be sworn enemies of each other. How could they have known that all of them would attack, without warning, at the same time? There had to have been a secret party behind all of this. Something was fishy.
The unconvinced person investigating the matter and searching for the truth was White Owl, a superheroine living in one of the cities that had been attacked- Queen City.
After some snooping, high tech computer work, and patience, White Owl noticed the well guarded trails of hackers in the global networks. Although they had connected to random locations all over the glove, their digital fingerprints eventually led to one location- an undisclosed island in the middle of an ocean.
"Bingo," White Owl said to herself as she decided to take a trip.

The week had been pretty heavy and stressful for most of the world. In the relaxing tropics of the islands, however, Colonel Cruel could just sit back and watch. In the control panel of his ship, he smiled and kept track of his operations.
He hadn't had much to complain about since he came to the alternative timeline of 2012. In fact, there were many things to be thankful for. His actions towards starting a new, and final, world war were underway. He had a new well trained clown soldier that he kept by his side, cuffed and gagged properly with the exception of dinnertime and other private activities. Even his drones seemed to be adapting to the landscape well, analyzing the time period well enough to keep him informed on any current events and changes. Staying informed was necessary to his plans.
Cruel watched news broadcasts around the world, gathering much humor from them. God, these primitive ancestors were so stupid, Cruel thought to himself with arrogant amusement. An apocalypse is only fitting for them!
It was in that joyous thinking that Colonel Cruel's scanners and radar went berserk. "Intruder alert," the system said in a frantic robot voice. "Intruder alert, intruder alert..."
"Not again," Cruel said with a groan. He clicked over one of the screens to where the disturbance could be. There he picked up, on one of his ships camera's, a very familiar figure.
"White Owl!" he said with an surprised look. She was here as well? She was a super heroine that had foiled his plans before. He was convinced that it had been in another alternative reality, some other timeline- but she was in this Earth as well.
"Every time I think traveling through space and time is easy," Colonel Cruel said as he rose from his chair, "some new work pops up." Looking to the gagged and bound clown soldier, Cruel smiled. "Now darling- don't do anything that will make me freeze you again when I come back."
Cruel got up and walked away as the clown looked at him with a worried face. Two war drones came in the room to stand vigil with guns as Cruel exited.

White Owl snooped around the strange ship. She knew she would find something peculiar here, but what would it be? There had been robots all over the island and she had to be slick to maneuver by them without being seen.
"This will be a ball," White Owl said sarcastically as she moved through the dark hallways of the ship. "Searching for hackers hiding away on some outlandish ship. This thing may not even be of Earth!"
White Owl turned a corner and suddenly stood in the middle of 4 hallways. Suddenly, 4 different robots with guns came from all directions, shouting "desist, desist, desist" in annoying digital voices.
"An ambush, huh?" White Owl grinned wide. "If that's how you like it." She took a strong kick to the midsection of one of the robots. "Ha!" she exclaimed with the kick.
The midsection of the robot cracked, a door in the center of the metallic torso popping open. Suddenly, a huge stream of gas flowed from it's torso and into White Owl's face.
White Owl coughed intensely. "S.. sleeping gas!"
Suddenly, all of the robots were spewing sleeping gas. From their vents and the doors of their midsections, gas sprayed everywhere.
White Owl coughed as she held her hands up to her face. It was useless. She couldn't stop as a strong feeling of fatigue moved through her body, calling her to sleep.
"No..." White Owl protested. "I can't... go..."
The gas faded out of the room as White Owl dosed off.
"Why, sure you can, soldier!" The Colonel came from behind a door in one of the hallways as he grinned wide. "And there's even more you can do! White Owl- I'm not sure if you know me in this time or not- but frankly, I don't care! At first, I was going to have you say hello to transformo... but I've got a better idea."
*** White Owl now stood in a closet specially reserved for her. Her white costume was gone. She now wore a red toy soldier uniform, her face unmasked and made up. She had been dolled up as her wide eyes blinked innocently. A big, heavy toy soldier hat rested on her head as a C glowed in the center.
"That's more like it, White Owl," Cruel said with a smile as he stood outside of the closet, admiring White Owl with some of his drones."How do you like your new barracks?"
White Owl blinked.
Cruel smiled. "I could have taken the time to make you an official drone, like I should have in that last reality we met in. Unfortunately, you foiled my plans then. Oh well. Consider this training before I replace your bothersome human brain with a robotic brain." Cruel pointed to White Owl's new hat. "That hat you are wearing there is very special. It's got tons and tons of microchips in it- all programmed to make you more compliant to the laws of cruelty!"
White Owl blinked.
"Oh..." Cruel shrugged. "Why explain it to you anyway? I get lost in my gloating. Anyway... when you've proven yourself as a toy soldier, maybe I'll make you a real soldier... in my army."
Cruel closed the closet door on White Owl with a sick laugh.
