Just some ancient pencils refurbished with a fresh new coat of digital ink.

 Re: Shredding the key-tar...
Thanks for those fun replies, Dragondack and Drunkendragon!
Actually, it's Jean Michel Jarre but who even knows what that guy looks like. Even I think it looks like John Lennon so why not Randy Newman?
I think you nailed it, Drunkendragon: "crisper and cleaner"! Thanks! Just what I was going for. The pencils have some things going on in spots but they're uneven, sketchy and incomplete. I don't think I would ever do such a brutal job of changing details if it was someone else's pencils I was inking!

...and both of your vids had me in stitches!

I like this. I like the original, too, but this digitally re-made version seems cleaner and crisper.

Now as for the old one, as I read the comment you put with that one about the "synth crap"...I think every video from the original 80's MTV ran through my head as I read that.
Then this hit my brain hard...

Never gonna give...

THEN...I watched Dragondack's Randy Newman video, and I haven't stopped laughing for at least 20 minutes now...

Awesome trippy trip down memory lane...

Funny first thing I thought when seeing the thumbnail was 'Randy Newman'?

I posted the original pencil sketch a while ago in HFC. A lot changed between there and here. If you're curious, click here...
