Best thing I've ever done!!!!!
...So my art jumped again!
I've been itching to experiment with colors and the way I paint, texture and skin. Grayscale - http://reddera.deviantart.com/art/Caprica-Black-and-white-125235779
I painted it in gray-scale, then did colors over top. That made the basic shading end so much earlier! Then I continued to paint on top of the color and experimented with textures. I created a custom freckle brush for her. I just put her photo next to my canvas so I could really look. I am working on stopping the lazy no-looky-itus and really made sure it looked like the photo.

10 hr total with color. Photoshop CS3, Intuos 3 Wacom Tablet.

This is Tricia Helfer as Caprica Six or just Six the most famous Cylon, from Battlestar Galactica. The best show ever made. Period.

I kept the DA watermark because I really love this piece and I don't want it to show up all over the internet with out my knowing. Or stolen, art theft is a terrible thing and I' protecting my art. Unfortunately I do agree it makes it impossible to see the art work. I hate it really. but I'd rather protect me art and deal with the stupid watermark. So thank you for the support and wonderful comment, sorry about the watermark. I think if you go to it on DA you can Download the image and then the watermark won't be there but I'm not sure. If it works then you can see it better. Thanks for all the love, ~Redd

The way they all compliment and work with each other to give her a realistic representation of this amazing woman's likeness is itself more than amazing. Dang. Um...I'm basically speechless on this one Red. And you know how tough that is to do to me. I dunno what more to say. Excellent job. (kinda an understatement) Thanks for sharing this. Wow.
