The Punisher is a vigilante who considers killing, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture to be acceptable crime-fighting tactics. the Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals in general by using all manner of conventional war weaponry. In 2004 an ongoing Punisher series under Marvel's mature-readers imprint, MAX. showrd a look of the Punisher pairing his traditional skull imprinted shirt with combat trousers, and combat boots.
