Brunnhilde, once thought to be the future leader of the Valkyriors, was cast out of Asgard at a young age after defying Odin's orders. Odin banished her to Midgard for her insolence.

Brunnhilde awoke in the middle of the rain forest in a guerrilla camp. She had no memories of her life before in Asgard and the guerrilla's raised her as one of it's members, giving her the name Renata Gonzuela.

While trekking through the jungle one morning she happened upon a slain griffin and found a hatchling under it's wing. Renata took in upon herself to secretly raise this young griffin and named it Soar.

Renata, now fully grown, fights for the Brazilian people against it's governmental regime as The Amazon.

Wow!

Dunno if it was in purpose but she looks a bit... manly.

Anyhoo... like the idea and backstory.
