 Re: Born of Shadows Did a little research and dammit B, you're right There was a character called "The Shroud" in Marvel's "Super-Villain Team-Up" first appearing in issue #5, (April 1976). Seems I'll need to think of a name change.
StarChild: it was a mix of 3D, photograph, and PhotoShop CS5. Wish I could say I drew the whole thing, but I don't have the patience to draw like that.

Re: Born of Shadows Very nice work. I dig the stylish monochrome. I really like the character design as well, it's a good fit for the concept. The background is perhaps a touch too blurry for realism, though it also does a good job focusing the eye on the character.
(I believe the name is already taken, though...)

Re: Born of Shadows Not only does this look like a really cool character concept but the quality of work here is amazing. I have no idea what media was used... 3d? photo manipulation? water colors? whatever it was it was a good choice. would love to see more of this guy!

Re: Born of Shadows On another note, I wanted that whole "noir & grainy" look to it. Like maybe its a photo that is just that old. The concept is of a anti-hero/superhero.. more or less a thug turned hero.
